The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides grants for individually designed study/research projects or for English teaching assistantships. A candidate will submit a Statement of Grant Purpose defining activities to take place during one academic year in a participating country outside the U.S.

The Fulbright Scholar Program is open to U.S. faculty, administrators and professionals, with grants to lecture, conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields, or to participate in seminars, from two weeks up to a year in an international setting.
The program, sponsored by the U.S. government, is designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries. The program is administered by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (a division of the Institute of International Education).
